Our Journey

History & Milestones

Since our establishment in 2004, FCT-SEB has been committed to improving education standards and fostering innovation among secondary school students in the Federal Capital Territory.

2004

FCT-SEB Established

The FCT Secondary Education Board was established to oversee secondary education in the Federal Capital Territory.

2010

First Entrepreneurship Program

Launched the first entrepreneurship program for secondary schools in the FCT to promote vocational skills.

2015

Competition Expansion

The competition expanded to include all six Area Councils of the FCT, reaching more schools and students.

2018

International Partnerships

First international partnership established with educational institutions in the United Kingdom.

2020

Virtual Innovation Program

Adapted to a virtual format during the pandemic, focusing on digital entrepreneurship skills.

2025

Renewable Energy Focus

Shifted focus to renewable energy and environmental sustainability to address pressing global challenges.
